Coin Slide-Survivor

Test precision and control in a skill-based game, contrasting with pure chance games like Heads or Tails.

Materials

  • 1 coin per student (each player uses their own coin)
  • A desk or table space shared by the group

Setup

  • A shared table.
  • Players have their own coin.
  • Slide your own coin as close to the table edge as possible.

Rules

  1. Players take turns sliding their own coin using one hand only; no flipping or tossing.
  2. Coins stay where they are. Later players must play around them.
  3. The player closest to the edge wins that round.
  4. Player farthest away, loses.
  5. If a coin falls off, the player loses automatically.
  6. Play until there is only one SURVIVOR.
